The main duty is the contract control of pre-medical projects. After client instruction the development of the project through the various segments of management, materials, site co-ordination, subcontractors, drawings, client requirements and variations to eventual project completion. All technical aspects from client technical standards to site specifications is part of his duties.
The financial aspects of budgets, interim and final account, additional works and financial negotiation for various projects. The financial and contract implications on site are co-ordinated with good site liaison maintained. The client meetings on technical and financial matters, the management of operation and maintenance manuals and all project test and completion certification. (Also, the co-ordination of the electrical installation part of the business from quotation to completion). The position is based in the Edinburgh office.
